When to pick which, honestly
Pick Watzap.id if…

You blast in very high volume

If you consistently send tens of thousands of messages per month, Watzap’s unlimited yearly plan (±Rp449k–649k/year) can work out cheaper than any quota-based plan, including ours. Do the math on your real volume, at sustained high volume, unlimited wins.

Pick Watzap.id if…

You run a WooCommerce store

Watzap has a ready-made WooCommerce integration for order notifications. LoginWA does not have a plug-and-play WooCommerce plugin yet, you would need to wire it up yourself via our REST API and webhooks, which takes developer time.

Pick LoginWA if…

You want to start free or pay monthly

Watzap requires roughly Rp449k+ upfront for a year. LoginWA starts at Rp0 (500 messages/month with a small watermark) and paid plans start at Rp25k/month, activating instantly via QRIS. If your volume is small or seasonal, monthly quotas are the lower-risk choice.

Pick LoginWA if…

You are a developer building OTP/login flows

LoginWA was designed around WhatsApp OTP: dedicated start/verify endpoints, HMAC-signed webhooks with retry, JS & PHP SDKs, IP whitelisting, and bilingual docs at loginwa.com/docs. If your main use case is authentication rather than mass broadcast, that focus shows.

Test it yourself before paying for a year

A yearly plan is a real commitment. Sign up free on LoginWA, no credit card, send 500 messages, try the OTP API and broadcast, then decide with data instead of marketing copy.

FAQ: LoginWA vs Watzap.id

Which is cheaper, LoginWA or Watzap.id?

It depends on volume and billing preference. Watzap is billed yearly (±Rp449k–649k/year, or ±Rp790k per 3 months) with unlimited messaging, very cost-effective at high volume. LoginWA is billed monthly with quotas: Free Rp0 (500 messages), Lite Rp25k (3,000), Regular Rp65k (15,000), Business Rp149k (60,000). Below roughly 15,000 messages/month, or if you dislike annual commitments, LoginWA is usually cheaper to start.

Is unlimited messaging always better than a quota?

Not always. Both LoginWA and Watzap are unofficial WhatsApp APIs, so numbers that send too aggressively can still get blocked by WhatsApp, unlimited quota does not remove that risk. LoginWA uses typing indicators, randomized human-like delays, and adjustable broadcast delays to minimize (not eliminate) blocking risk. Choose based on your realistic monthly volume, not the biggest number on the pricing page.

Can I migrate from Watzap.id to LoginWA?

Yes. LoginWA is a standard REST API, sending a message is a single POST to /api/v1/messages/send with a Bearer API key. Sign up with your WhatsApp number at /auth/otp, create an app, scan the QR with your device, and you can test side by side on the free plan before switching production traffic.
